what’s that? it’s moussaka! moose cocka??!

this will be a short post.

but I’m anxious to get a blog written!  I’ve been SO busy with sessions its insane…but a girl’s gotta have a break sometime!

so my friend teresa came home from chicago and of course, we hung out.  I may or may not have planned my visit during the time of dinner, knowing her father was training to be a chef.  of course, I wanted to visit with my dickinsons too!  luckily, I was invited to stay for supper and I couldn’t have been more excited.

big d, as I like to call him, was preparing shrimp.  not just any shrimp…but full-tailed, simmered, and thrown on the grill shrimp!  it was ah-mah-zing.

his recipe portions are his own little secret, but big d did share his ingredients with me: butter, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, and diced garlic.


it was the best shrimp I’ve ever had.
